Brown Crab (Cancer Pagurus)

Brown Crab from Norway

The Brown Crab (Cancer pagurus) is the most common crab in Norway. A hard shell and good weight indicates that the crab has a high content of meat. Brown crab are fished all year around, but the main season is from August to November.
